Is that the way to win medal by such champ? I don't like it very much. Maybe we should concentrate on preparations to those games and looking for new young athletes instead of this kind of "russian" tricks.

No, it isn't, but if there was possibility of mistake from Echikunwoke then it should be checked, especially when we all known very well that in those Olympics judges and refs in some cases are unfair and don't see some obvious mistakes.

Anyway it was rejected and still 4th place for her is very good result. I'm afraid that it will be even worse (if it can be) in Los Angeles, but in Brisbane some young talents, if we will have anyone, should be contenders for good results

Class act of a response by Jakob here, very humble in defeat

Hoping he can get his redemption in the 5000m :yes

Only weak nations seek such solutions. It was desperate looking for anything without a reason. If we can't win a medal we try to take someone else's? Sth new for me...So maybe Chinese fencers should look through the whole match for sth idiotic etc. For me great resume. Waiting for weak-end 🙂🙂

I have just delved into the format and it is even more stupid than I thought. Give us back the 50km..

Every single nation would protest if they believe there was a foul. Not different than when a runner in the 200m steps over the line or something.

I get it. I mean proportions. This guy was effective some time ago. When there were reasons. We have seen them on cameras, that maybe. Now it became desperate in our situation. It wasn't even close. I get it, we are in terrible mindsets now..but still shall stay professional imo. Our weakness - our problem. Desperate calls...hmmm...not my vision of olympism.
