89.49m for :IND Chopra in the men’s javelin thro in the 6th round! Another mark over 89m, but still can’t break that elusive 90m barrier.

:GRN Peters continues his strong stretch of form with 90.61m in the 6th and final round to take the win  (probably one of the most intriguing men’s field events at the moment IMO)

I think after today's last throw he thought that he had done it. It is like there is an invisible force on the 90 m line which always pulls his Javelin before the mark

I have a question… is there any way to stream pre-program action? Because ugh, so many good events that I’ll miss in Silesia. :hairpull:

It is on Polish TV, but you'll need a VPN

Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases

It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places.
