Winter Olympic Games Milano Cortina 2026 Tickets, Trips and Experiences

Recommended Posts

Another round of tickets gave 2 biathlon tickets. That's more or less the second half of my trip settled with the men's relay and men's mass start added. Still considering a bit more for my time in Milano, but now I got enough of an idea to actually start checking out hotels and travel arrangements.

Good for you!

speed skating starting from 280€, short track and figure skating from 450€...I guess I'll just go to Milan for a random women's hockey match

Had planned to add some speed skating, but that certainly was too much for me as well!

Which ones? I added the biathlon pursuit day for Bruna and myself, the one I was still hoping for :cheer: (category B, 2x200 for category A was a bit too much :p)

Some others would be nice too, but with her (hopefully) competition schedule, it would be unwise to go for something like the day between two competitions, sadly :d

Men's relay and men's mass start. Would have loved to see the women, but their relay is the same day as team sprint and I'm most likely going home on the day of the women's mass start.

is this the right place to ask how on earth do you get to cortina d'ampezzo without having to drive? Are they building a train station there at all? wanting to book tickets for curling but it looks like too much effort if im honest

Well, decided (without much advance planning) to attend my first Olympics - and to do my first trip to Europe. Only going for a few days, and got five tickets - women's ice hockey finals (A), short track women's 1500m QF/SF/F and men's 5000m relay finals (A), Aerials mixed team (A), women's ski half pipe finals (B) and women's curling finals (A).

Somewhat regretting my women's curling finals ticket because getting from Livigno Saturday night to Cortina Sunday morning looks to be a massive pain in the butt, but I think I found an itinerary that minimizes the suck. Unfortunately I don't think there is a practical way for me to do my Milan -> Livigno -> Cortina -> Venice itinerary without having a rental car from when I leave Milan.

Flying SEA -> JFK -> MXP on the way there and VCE -> FCO -> FRA -> SEA on the way back (with an overnight layover in FCO, figured it wasn't any more expensive to get a hotel room there than anywhere close to Cortina).

It's possible only by cars I think.

fly to Milan (Linate), Orio al Serio or Venice and from all of those airports you can find Bus companies that have direct trips to Cortina (of course you have to book them well in advance if you want to find some places during the Olympic weeks)

there's also a chance to go there by train (the station is in a village near Cortina, Pieve di Calalzo, if I remember correctly the name of that place), but it might prove to be a nightmare, I'd definitely choose the Bus trip from the previously mentioned locations

    • Surprisingly the BBC gave this a breaking news notification from their Sport app. Unusual for someone who has been semi retired for a couple of years now.
    • However it is illegal in some countries which the IOC is aware of, And which could cause issues particularly for those under 18.

    • sprinter Adam Gemili.  Never quite got the big Global medals as an individual runner, but always a key member of the 4x100m squad.  Had PBs of sub-10 for 100m and sub-20 for the 200m, which is very elite form indeed.     Adam Gemili: Former European champion sprinter retires - BBC Sport
