I know that Gatlin didnt make the final ... but why? It was a very low level final, the brits (Gemili and Hughes), Jobodawana and Dwyer all got worse since last year, Francis was injured and Van Niekerk didnt want to win a second medal (where the hell was South Africa in the 4 x 100 m relay?).

Though there's still the hope that Arai has "blown himself up" trying to stay with Toth and might drop back now..who knows..
