Just wait till LA 2028 when the Cuban team is banned from competing.

Might result in the Olympics being cancelled.

Botn shoots clean, which means miracles exist, and he's pulling it onto the podium, kicking Laegreid out very much last minute :d

The course was dead after the first 5 or 10 guys. Nice result for Jacquelin, don’t see how he could equal the Norwegians with fair conditions though. Next year the fight for the blue jersey should be interesting. Perrot, Wright and multiple Norwegians should deliver an interesting fight. From a German perspective I hope that Kaiser, Kesper and Pfund will get the spots of Doll, Rees and Strelow/Horn. No point in dragging average talents along until they are 30 years old.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

QFM shot right in front of me.  No idea how he skipped the loop.  I agree, that once the first 10 finished, the crown noise went down quite a bit.  Still a fun experience.

Maybe was looking at someone else’s targets & thought he’d got them all down.  Just so frustrating for Campbell Wright, there’s definitely a win for him next year.

I would have thought the same, but there were only three or four people out of the 100 that shot at lanes 29 or 30, and none were shooting at the same time as him.  Who knows.

Here's hoping for two good pursuit races today.

    • The only ones complaining about the short track refs are Italians, imo. Not even on this forum, but in general, from what I've been seeing on live chats and other social media sites. That says a lot to be honest. I suspect it's partially due to them not performing to the high standard they're expected to perform at especially at the Olympics. The refs make a lot of mistakes for everyone, there's no bias against or towards anyone    Plus, Italy have won 6 medals already.... the most you've won at a Worlds since 2016.
    • For me they gave Canada the gold in the relay in exchange for a 1000-meter dsq gold for Dandjinou, that's how I see it. It was a battle between Kor and Can on 2 of this case. It's hard to say why that last dsq for Kor was in relay? Of course, Italy win bronze thanks for that, but that's not really important. It would have been better if the referees had just stayed out of the results and left it as it was decided for fight on the ice.

    • the quata for europe or australia is from the primer 12, where the top 20 teams will participate, sadly  is the 21th team so the only slight chance for us in my opinion is if: we get top 2 at the european championship (not including  hopefully if they get the quata), then somehow win the final qualification tournament against i assume  and one of    the chances for us are slim, i think about 4 other team sports  have a better chance in in my opinion(and the most team sports we ever had was one, and it was the last two time after a long time )

    • well, Cuba and Venezuela for sure...   Iran is a different question, but I hope in 2 years all this war shit is done and dusted and at least in the sports world everything is gonna be OK
    • In my opinion the Italian team has been playing above expectations since last year after several years of decline. Last year, we advanced to the first division at the European Championships and now they're playing very close matches against the strong India and Scotland. We a little miss a potential to do more – we are only 18th in the world rankings. Our men's team's performance in this sport is much weaker.
    • I wonder if all Cuba, Iran and Venezuela will be able to travel and compete in LA at all... Hopefully that yes.
