Horrible tragedy in Poland :( In Swiebodzice - very close to the place where I live - a big building has collapsed due to gas explosion and killed at least 5 people including 2 children with many more injured

I had the most memorable and important day of my life last friday, where me and my now wife could celebrate our wedding. We had a small ceremony and then we had an enjoying weekend together.

Maybe this is the future of the Summer Olympics (to move some indoor events to the Winter Olympics)

Definition of winter sports: sports performed on snow or ice.

How can a journalist who has covered seven Olympic Games write "and then there’s basketball. Professional basketball is also a winter sport. But it’s part of the summer Olympics"  ?:facepalm:

Well it is as the NBA season is held during the winter.


The Canada Games for ex. has this model. Some summer sports like synchronized swimming, judo etc. are held during the 'winter edition'

      That was known from the start for  and will be planned for.   Sadly just the reality of sports in North America. Canada and the US are both huge, a flight from Vancouver to Halifax or from Seattle to Miami is north of five hours. Every sports league in North America has to deal with this kind of travel logistics on the regular, so none of this will seem particularly unusual to a North American player.
