Hopefully our Argentine friends @LDOG @konig are alright, just like our Chilean friends of who I'm afraid the names just don't want to get in my mind.

luckily we are in the other part of the country, we dont have consecuences in our city, San Juan is the argentinian city with most posibilitys of earthquakes, in 1944 an earthquake which 9 points in the richter scale (in its most intensitive point) had 10.000 deaths and destroy all the city.

How are the reports in Argentine media about it? On a Dutch forum there is some discussion on how bad this earthquake could be, and so far the opinions are mostly "There doesn't seem to be a lot of news, so hopefully it's not very bad" :p

Is that about right?

Yes, the national media delay to publish the new at least two hours after the earthquake, there arent death people and damage.

Luckily it seems like it ended up all ok in Fukushima. The only problem I heard of was of the cooling systems being down, but I guess they got it back up and running. The tsunami didn't really come, I spent one and a half hour watching to waves that are smaller than the waves in my bathtub :p (if I had a bathtub, which I don't anymore)

    • Just noticed that  Sweden rejected a late quota in men's ski cross. There is no one left to reallocate the quota to so men's ski cross will only have 31 athletes entered.   Who would've thought before the games began that women's ski cross would use all 32 quotas and men's ski cross wouldn't.

    • A few years ago, losing to Argentina might have been acceptable because you had a better squad. Not this time, but I guess I shouldn't expect anything different after those friendlies against Sweden either.    It was the ideal opportunity for us to dominate this sport on the continent for a few years, until Argentina once again had the best squad, considering that your work with young players is better.
