I think you have strongly confused me with someone else buddy :dI've never been in a lab except the mandatory physics and chemistry at my elementary school and since I was absolutely desolate in these matters, I even chose a high school where these subjects were not taught at all. So the last time I was in a lab I was something like 12-13 years old :d

Mind = blown

Bedankt :d

By the way, you're in the field of science/chemistry, right?

I think @Gianlu33 and @Wanderer have some background in science, but I could be mistaken.

Anyway, I recently bought this book:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/What_If%3F:_Serious_Scientific_Answers_to_Absurd_Hypothetical_Questions

And it's just really, really good (and fun)! I was now reading the chapter about what happens if you build the periodical element in real, made of cubes from the elements themselves (spoiler: all humans die, basically) and thought about @hckosice because I was so sure he worked in a lab :p

Well then to anyone with a slight interest in sort of popular sciency kind of stuff: try and get this book, it's awesome.

I'm pretty sure @AlFHg works/studies in chemistry. His username gives it away.

It does? :d

    • There is a saying to never trust a Russian in gymnastics. Well, ex-Russian turned Bulgarian Elvira Krasnobaeva is transferring now to Armenia.   The "official" reason is for personal, family matters, but in reality it's most likely because she wasn't selected for Paris, which angered her parents. Even though she is only 16, had her breakthrough just this year and started making mistakes, when they amped up the difficulty.   Our Federation's President Iliana Raeva said today, that she received calls also from France and Azerbaijan about Elvira's mother basically auctioning her. Raeva mentioned, that Krasnobaeva was going to be a vocal point in the next Olympic cycle, but now she can hit the road and missed her chance to ever compete for Bulgaria, even if she wanted to in the future.    We are also going to make a new Group from next season. After the disappointment in Paris, 4 out of the 5 girls announced their retirement.
    • true, but was expecting India to get troubles from Australia, not from New Zealand, and specially not by being bowled out. Makes the group phase interesting though
    • The 4th best team in the world beating the 3rd best team in the world is not a huge surprise though.
    • I’ve been recently introduced by some friends to cricket (or the t20 version of it, at least) and actually liked it so I’m following the World Cup that’s happening during this month
