While it is in fact the official name of the country, I mean Slovenská Republika (Slovak Republic) nobody is using it and just call it shortly Slovensko (Slovakia), surprised to see they call us this way here

 

Btw still better to have Slovak Republic and Czech Republic than Slovakia and Czechia

I always write out the full Czech Republic, but I've seen many places including this forum using Czechia. Which would be the preferred version of spelling for czechs?

Short attention span rules. People ain't bothered to write Czech Republic these days? I sure find this Czechia thing look artificial. I have no idea where that came from.

It came from Czechia when they officially changed the name of the country. It’s nothing to do with short attention spans

Nope, our guys competed in lightweight pair, where there were 3 boats, our team finished last, according to new rules, no medal, you have to beat one team to win a medal.

Same here, it has always been "Чехия". But then again, it is also still mainly Holland, rather than The Netherlands, because it's easier.

Weirdly there seems to be much more people in attendance during the day sessions, than last night's one. We will see how things go tonight, but yestreday evening had the least amount of people from the 3 sessions so far by my account.
