Germany really deserved the win today against our girls. Very disappointed though. Volleyball is my favourite sport, unfortunately no Dutch team to cheer for in Tokyo.

We got beat fair and square by Germany. Really disappointing result.

 

Interesting observation: after the rehearsed cheers of NL - GER, the stadium filled up with Turkish and Polish flags and is now an almost hooligan-esque atmosphere. Crazy transition!

Poland blows 5 match points, Turkey needs only one! Meryem Boz had 38 pts or something. Totally overshadowed Smarzek-Godek in crucial moments.

No words for this what happened yesterday in fourth set, still I'm so sad about this... Once again we lost a totally possible quota in team sport for Olympics in almost last moment... It's so painful...
