@MHSN Iran is meaning business in Handball YWCH taking place in Croatia , defeating Faroe Islands and tying with Sweden

they tied with Georgia few days ago in a friendly match therefore I was expecting some heavy defeats here. apparently I was wrong :d eliminating an European team is a big deal for Asian teams. in both matches they were down by 5-7 goals in middle of the 2nd half but had a couple of comebacks.

and looks like these kids love drama, you should watch the last minute of their matches vs Bahrain at the Asian Champs, that was insane :d

Iran missed a very big chance to qualify to quarterfinals , Faroe Islands surprisingly defeated Germany , but Iran lost to KSA , now all 4 teams in this group have 2 points , this group will face either Egypt or Spain in quarterfinals

and Iran was leading 23-17 with 12 minutes to go but then they just collapsed and gave up a 10-1 run  that was a complete meltdown

they had a great tournament until that moment ... :( can't see them recover from this at this young age. That was fun until it lasted

Faroe Islands qualified to quarters of YWCH after qualifying to Quarters at JWCH , they destroyed KSA 41-23 , now the last spot to grab in Group IV of main Rd between Iran and Germany

Losing against the Faroe Islands is unacceptable, but in the end it probably doesn't make a difference. At this point it would be a shock if Germany would beat Spain/Egypt. Germany recently dominated the U21 world championships, sad to see that this apparently was more of a fluke.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

It's already difficult to maintain this sport, and with this ridiculous format this year, things have gotten even worse. • Another weak result for our athletics team, which is typical; without Caio or Alisson, our chances of a medal in any high-level tournament are almost zero.   However, Juliana's result in the women's pole vault was a great 7th place.
