Danka Barteková started the new season with a new finals pb 58/60 and equalling her qualifications pb 121/125 and winning her first seasons competition the GP of Cyprus.

 

Well done Danka !

 

This is going to be one extremely challenging year for her with a try to repeat London 2012 on both fronts, win a medal in Tokyo 8 years after her bronze from the London games and trying to be reelected as IOC athletes commission member for the second term of office in a row.

Of course she was Italian and she was born in Rome :p

The most random team I can remember in sports (past the youth Olympics 3on3 hockey in Lausanne obviously)

 

Danka Barteková won skeet team bronze at the Emir Trophy in Italy with teammates from  :SEN and :GBR

She won the silver medal in the skeet individual event too, that it's a bit more prestigious that finish last in the team event :p
