It looks like Krawczuk doesn't have any injury cause he start today at 200m (he won gold) and later in relay. And talking about relay, very interesting squad of RKS Łódź: three middle-distance runner (including Adam Kszczot, another absence at this Championships) and one sprinter. Effect? Gold medal :d

Good to hear that, he deserved to have medal :d

If I good remember last year (or two?) Kszczot also didn't start on 800m and started only in relay like this year, I wonder what is reason.

I'm surprised that Jaszczuk didn't win medal, 4th place is highly disappointed...

despite the inclement weather, earlier today Leonardo Fabbri scored an amazing 21.99m in the men's shot put at the Italian Nationals in Padua...:yikes:

he improved his PB by 40cm and his performance is the world no.2 (behind the 22.91m shot by Ryan Crouser) and the european no.1 this season...

unfortunately the awful weather did really influence in a negative way all the other results: Marcel Jacobs won the men's 100m in 10.10 (but with +3.3 wind) after Filippo Tortu pulled out just before the final, Luminosa Bogliolo easily won the women's 100m Hurdles in 13.03 (regular wind), Larissa Iapichino won her first senior Italian title in the women's Long Jump (but with a vey modest 6.32m and -1.7 wind), Gianmarco Tamberi won the men's High Jump with 2m28cm and finally, in absence of Davide Re (injured in the Stockholm DL race last week), Edoardo Scotti won the men's 400m in 45.77...

all the remaining events are not even worth mentioning...

Fragments from her run in the first 2 minutes of the video. She won the race almost 7 seconds ahead of the silver medalist

Makes me think about the Netherlands in the same event: the general level is not really very good at all, but apparently both you and we have one young and very talented girl making up for that :cheer:

    • I think I can live with the draw , not a bad group at all. just a week ago our mafia coach said his dream group is Belgium, Egypt and Haiti, he almost got that !   but it's really hard for me (and so many others) to cheer for this team, A mafia boss coach, disgusting group of players. I never had this feeling about any NT in any sport before but still the national team is the national team. you have to like it  coaches and players come and go, the team is what matters.   if the team makes it to the competition, I'm sure there will be lots of Iranians in the stadium despite the orange's ban, that will never be a problem.
    • Belgium is the luckiest in this story
    • One of the worst possible draw for us. Group really easy but having to face  or  in the Round of 32 is devastating.
    • Always dreamed Gretzky will draw Slovakia was another moment I can already remove from my things to do before die list
