I don't think any sport that was added in the last 30 years has less than 1000 fans ;)

I was exaggerating a bit (humor, u know) but the point is all "sports" introduced in last 30 years have, in my opinion, a very limited fan base

If the lights light up exactly at the correct moment, he was definitely first, since his light went on first. Not sure if those lights are 100% accurate though?

I don't think they have a smaller fan base than some of the old sports like fencing or wrestling to be honest, it just depends on the nations.

I think golf, rugby or snowboard have a much bigger fanbase than sports like modern pentathlon, canoeing or luge ... or did i miss the point?

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

It depends on your country; in mine, golf or snowboard have almost zero fan base. I did a bit of traveling in my life...never encountered fans of golf, snowboard, synchronized swimming, rapid water canoeing and such "sports" but I'm sure it's my fault, I didn't travel in the open minded, cool, pokemon world.

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely? This must be the best training system in the world...
