Well, that's interesting,  eliminated  in men's foil. I am not sure if this changes anything in the fight for the American quota. I mean,  is in the Top16, so maaaaybe they now get a chance to qualify? Probably not.

If anything it probably has more impact on the European quota with Poland being big beneficiary as they are almost certain to reach quarter finals now.
