also with the historic participation of Slovakia, only god know when we will participate in such fiesta again, maybe when we will host this tournament and knowing our fantastic speed in matter of building stadiums and all infrastructure maybe in Slovakia 3076..

Sad for France, but well, it´s football, that´s sport. this end their 19 winning matches streak at major tournaments at home, since Czechoslovakia-France in bronze medal match 1960 Euro.

 

Strange tournament, all big names played in left side bracket, but won a team from the "let say easiest" right side of the brackets.

Congrats Portugal!

Certainly not the most spectacular champion, but the nation deserves a title after having reached at least the semifinals in three of the last four European Championships. Although they were lucky in some moments, they have beaten highly rated Croatia and France without penalties and didn't stumble over Wales like Belgium did.
