In cross country they at least only has Pursuits sometimes in the World cup, and give a win to best time as well but that is also not really fair conditions, not to Mention How Weird it is that a race can have Two winners or even Worse that johaug for example can get Two World cup wins in one race.

That's only for the "special" races like Tour de Ski, right? Today for instance, there's no "win" for the fastest.

I still like the pursuit. But I agree it could be better.  Possibilities include cutting the gap in half, or cutting the points in half that are awarded.

No, I like the pursuit as a race, no problem with that. The format shouldn't change, it just shouldn't be the case that BOTH the sprint and pursuit are awarded Olympic medals. About biathlon-specific events like the world championships or World Cup, I find it much less of a problem.
