You're not the only one.

It isn't my fault then :cheer:

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Is it me, or are threads that you already read marked as unread again after a while? This is kind of annoying me and it's only like this since a couple of days..

I have forwarded this to the IP Board support. They are often updating the software version so it's possible this happens since when we have a new version, but a newer version will be available in some days/weeks.

I wonder - Totallympics is back for some time so maybe we should go back to one thing - I think every big competition should have its own thread. Why? 1. It looks very poor when there are only two threads in each discipline (discussion and Olympic qualifications). 2. It would be easier to follow each event and find it after some time.
I don't say that we need the full results as it was in old version, but more threads IMO would be better.

I agree about that, but Rio 2016 is so near that I would wait after Rio, when we will have a lot of time and less "fuss" around the forum to make the "revolution" and decide what to do with the threads.

By the way, In next weeks we will start opening the threads for each Sport at the Summer Olympic Games 2016. Of course one thread for each Olympic Sport. Tell me through Private Message which thread you want to open, and when format/logo will be ready I will send you the logo. If more than one user wants the same sport, users who already opened a thread in that section will have priority. Format will be pretty easy, you will probably have to work only on the daily schedule to put in the first post.

Maybe we can create some fancy templates for the Olympic Games so that results (especially team events results) could be posted with ease as the Games progresses. The template could be filled in advance, minus the results, which will obviously be filled as each day passes. I don't mind creating some sample templates and seeing what users think.

Yes, please do that. If you have more than one ideas realize all of them in a test thread and then you can hear for users' feedbacks. My creatitivy leven right now is below zero so I prefer to leave this task to someone else :d

I will for sure. My idea is that for team sports, we could imagine the templates like a wall-planner you sometimes get in advance of some big football tournament and you fill in the scores with your pen as the matches progress. Similarly, there is no reason we can't do that here for all team sports during the Olympics.... the schedule and fixtures will be known in advance so we can create nice templates for them and it should be relatively easy to keep them updated as the Olympics progresses.

Individual sports would be more tricky because in athletics for example, the draws for the heats of each event usually takes place only 1-2 days in advance of the event. But we can still have a pre-ordered template and the names of each athlete will just have to be filled. I was thinking of something with a nice design, incorporating the Olympic rings symbol, and uniform sort of style (colour, layout, etc.), it will be like our special Totallympics templates for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. They should look nice as it is a major event (after all the Olympics are what we are all about here :d ).
