The big question is will Sinclair retire now or after the Olympics.

IMO her being seleted for the Olympics at this point would be entirely sentimental (which on some level is understandable given all she's done for the sport in this country).

Arash Madani of Sportsnet tweeted she won't be there. There will be 2 final send of games next month

I'm not surprised, she's been getting less field time despite her "respect" factor. It was quite believable that she would be at best a sub for the last ~20 minutes of games. Her going for one last World Cup was understandable, but she already has Olympic gold and the all-time scoring record. There's nothing more for her to achieve.

Probably a good thing. On a 23 woman roster you can sort of justify having her as a sub, but on the smaller, 18 woman Olympic roster? Ya...

I’m assuming the tickets will be extremely expensive xD

I’m going to try to get both team Canada games in Vancouver along with maybe a couple games in Seattle too.

I’m hope I can repeat my ticket luck from when the Women’s World Cup was here.

    • this is not funny at all, pal
    • I think I can live with the draw , not a bad group at all. just a week ago our mafia coach said his dream group is Belgium, Egypt and Haiti, he almost got that !   but it's really hard for me (and so many others) to cheer for this team, A mafia boss coach, disgusting group of players. I never had this feeling about any NT in any sport before but still the national team is the national team. you have to like it  coaches and players come and go, the team is what matters.   if the team makes it to the competition, I'm sure there will be lots of Iranians in the stadium despite the orange's ban, that will never be a problem.
    • Belgium is the luckiest in this story
    • One of the worst possible draw for us. Group really easy but having to face  or  in the Round of 32 is devastating.
    • Always dreamed Gretzky will draw Slovakia was another moment I can already remove from my things to do before die list
    • Finland have been awful in almost all winter sports, well beside ice hockey and cross-country from time to time, for a lot of years. It's very good to see them building people to challenge for wins again. Their new coach has done wonders it seems.
    • 14th June in Philadelphia against Cote d´Ivoire   20th June inToronto against Curacao   and 25th June in Philadeplphia to kick out  home    Not easy, but not the most difficult group. Should be okay. Vamos
