The generic English-language commentator on Eurosport seemed to genuinely not know that Adamczykova is the same person as Eva Samkova :d

"She has the bronze medal from two years ago and here is the world title!" (the bronze was as Adamczykova, but as Samkova...you know, world title, Olympic gold... :p )

No, he did talk about it earlier & she herself made the same joke.

:GBR With huge chance of gold in Mixed Team after leg 1!

Yes Gold!    Well done Huw Nightingale, way over-performed to keep up with the big names, then Charlotte Bankes brought it home!

British officials apparently have drawn the right conclusions from their failure at the last olympics. Much better performances in snowboarding, freestlye skiing, bob and skeleton. Those + curling those are their "traditional" winter sports. I think they could also do much better in short-track and speed skating (+ maybe luge, snowboard slalom and ski cross) if they would focus on it. Maybe they will win one or two more medals this week, Brookes could certainly win one in the big air event (given that the american women + Sadowski won't compete).

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.
