This "Nations league" reminds me of Hockey World League (of Field Hockey). It's an interesting idea, but the Euro qualifiers got too confuse with this...

Generally, I'm not against of making that league to change the boring friendly matches. But I don't see any sense of mixing it with Euro qualifiers.

The Nations League will not change that much the qualifying process for 2020. Only 4 teams will qualify from the Nations League, while the other 20 will be from the traditional qualifying stage we know.

One of the last 16 national team in Europe (40 - 55 at the UEFA Ranking for National Teams) have a guaranteed quota at the EURO 2020.
It's unfair. That is not an Olympics or World Cups with their continental quotas.

Italy applied whit San Marino for host the 2019 men's U21 european championship. The cities that may be involved are: :ITA Bologna, :ITA Cesena, :ITA Reggio Emilia, :SMR San Marino and :ITA Udine

our u21 team secured playoff. So, we will play against Spain, Austria or Norway. We played against Spain in 2015. So, I hope this this we will play against Austria or Norway
