For canoeing sprint:

General Secretary of Serbian federation said now : "One country can have max 6 male and 6 female athletes for K and also one country can have two crews in k1 and k2".

So, competitors from k2 1000/500 must participate in k4. Disaster really.

Not offical, but this is a proposal of icf.

Few medals more for Hungary and Germany :coffee:

Key changes and benefits

  • Qualification for the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup through the Qualifiers instead of through the FIBA Women's Continental Cups, which become stand-alone events
  • The final standings at the previous edition of the Women’s Continental Cups determine which teams participate in the First Round of Qualifiers in each region, for both Women’s World Cup and Olympic Games.
  • FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022 Qualifiers played as tournaments, with a First Round in each region and a Second Round consisting of 4 Global Qualifying Tournaments
  • First Round of FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022 Qualifiers to consist of 34 teams
  • Asia and Oceania to play together in an Asia Region to ensure competitive games
  • Olympic Games 2020 Qualifiers played as tournaments, with a First Round played in each region and a Second Round split in 4 FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments (WOQTs)

so if i read this correctly, fiba is again outdoing itself in regards of stupidity. there are no direct q for Tokyo from eurobasket, but only to olympic tournament qualification and this is the best part even though 2018 world champions and Japan are qualified directly, they will still for some reason play in this olympic qualification tournament?

I hope that with Gismondi will be different, especially since she was already a great talent in her junior years. The problem in Italy is that for the past 15 years, aside from Pellegrino, there has been a miss of stability in other athletes: there are some booms of excellent form, but later they disappear. I also worry that funding for cross-country skiing will be cut after the Cortina Olympics.
