CCB 519 Posted July 25, 2019 #71 Share Posted July 25, 2019 Dutch team is very weak suddenly. Too bad, because they were the best European team in the past years. A loss today means GB and Italy will play for the Olympic quota.

dcro 10,193 Posted July 25, 2019 #73 Share Posted July 25, 2019 (edited) Dutch probably won't qualify even if they win against Italy. I think concieving 5 runs against GB is too much... Edited July 25, 2019 by dcro #banbestmen
dareza 911 Posted July 25, 2019 #74 Share Posted July 25, 2019 Nice chance for italy, buut they have to beat maybe both teams for quota.
JoshMartini007 2,367 Posted July 25, 2019 #75 Share Posted July 25, 2019 Huge upset by Great Britain, I don't think Italy is safe either. Netherlands needs to go big against Italy to have a chance.
phelps 7,410 Posted July 25, 2019 Author #76 Share Posted July 25, 2019 Just now, dareza said: Nice chance for italy, buut they have to beat maybe both teams for quota. sure, because now they play NED on Friday night before playing GB on Saturday (at the infamous time of noon CET, because NED will still play the last game at 3 p.m. CET)... and this means that we have to give everything twice in a few hours...an "all or nothing" match up against NED would have been a lot better for us (we could have used other pitchers against GB and keep Cecchetti fresh for the OQ decider, now probably we have to waste her on Friday night and rely on Cacciamani (who's good, but not that good) on the platform against GB... I think so too. Too many runs against (5). Did GB have different players than at the Europeans last month?

szy123 79 Posted July 25, 2019 #79 Share Posted July 25, 2019 Wow, I thought GB could make some upset here, but I'm still surprised I am unashamed, at getting nothing done.
ofan 237 Posted July 25, 2019 #80 Share Posted July 25, 2019 Wow, hats off to Team GB. I thought that the Dutch team had this quota in the bag
