Glad at least Mexican fencers advanced from the pool round into the preliminary tableau.

 

Even happier one of our women competitors in epee made it to the main competition.

Another great result for our women in foil, with one of them advancing directly to the main 64, and another two joining her.

 

Our men in epee, were just decent, but I'd have wanted at least one of them to advance further.

Of course, nobody in the Netherlands ever gave two shits about foil fencing, whatsoever, but when there's two Dutch/'Dutch' athletes at the world champs, they face each other in the round of 64
