Yeah, there were happy ! The girls will gain a lot of much needed experience during next the VNL next year before the home olympics

The french volleyball federation and the coach Emile Rousseaux :BEL have done a great job with this team. 5 years ago, they wera ranked 50th in the world. We always had some good female volleyball players, but no one cared, there was no project whatsoever and zero investissment. Everything change with Paris being the host of the 2024 olympics.

Poland will host the 2027 Men's World Championships. So that's basically the third time we will host WCH in a 13 year span. I suppose nobody wants to spend money on volleyball anymore :coffee:

Don’t know if anyone here follows club volleyball, but does anyone know where to watch ZASKA/Sesc RJ Flamengo/Vero Volley (men’s mainly) matches?

Fenerbahçe and Eczacıbaşı‘s matches are streamed on their respective YouTube channels I believe.

    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
