Grassmarket 2,796 Posted October 26, 2023 #661 Share Posted October 26, 2023 It’s the NCAA Conference Cross Country Champs this weekend. Most of the primo ones are on pay TV, but PAC-12 should be a good one, probably involves some of your own young athletes & is FTA. Live at 18:00 UK time tomorrow. maestro

Here’s an old explanation of it: https://www.si.com/more-sports/2019/12/04/big-dogs-backyard-ultra-marathon I watched the live stream a couple of times during those 108 hours. It’s bizarre what these athletes are capable of. Olympian1010

Dennis 600 Posted November 5, 2023 #669 Share Posted November 5, 2023 Interesting New York marathon with the women starting 25 minutes before the men, but Tola finishing in 2:04:59 was only shortly after the top 3 women with Obiri winning the women's race in 2:27:23. The women were consistently running at a 2:30:00+ pace for more than 35km, where the men's race was hard right from the start. Josh
