Plus, i wouldnt object having BD if, say, IOC kept double trap or 50 km race walk. But evicting those disciplines to have BD...not really. 

We’re definitely in agreement on that. There should be a good mix of traditional/new wave, TV friendly/spectator friendly, popular/niche, etc.

Yes, exactly. Cuting sports randomly is killing olympics since at least 2008. 

Baseball in, baseball out, then again in.

Introducing mix events over weights in boxing, wrestling, kayak. 

Karate in, then out after only one cycle.

Its difficult to follow whats happening at all.
