While waiting for my girlfriend to fly back to Brazil, I saw this Serbian plane at the Amsterdam airport. It must be a sign for later today :p

And with that, Serbia is the only country in the Balkan area I'm now cheering for.

Why do you think that Denmark has such a great defense?

France didn't even try, peruvian players couldn't score to save their lives and Australia scored a goal against you, but probably should have scored more. Croatia will be the best opponent you faced so far, their players will be rested and their B team was able to score twice against Iceland. For me Croatia winning by less than 2 goals would be close to a miracle.

The fact that we're one of the teams of the tournament who have conceded the least goals (remember that Australia's was a penalty that some highly respected refs don't think was right) and before that it has only been 3 goals in 10 matches. Schmeichel is in a brilliant shape while the CB's have been doing very well as well. The fullbacks aren't that good but have done very well so far, especially against France (maybe France didn't go all in, but not trying is a lie)

Many reasons:

1) I like the french team more

2) I think France plays better football

3) I think France has a better chance of stopping Neymar/Ronaldo/Ramos from winning the world cup

4) I don't like Maradona

Is dificult to discuss you the point 4

    • There will be specialized double sculls...just not for an NOC if it is entering singles specialists.   Either enter 2 singles specialists, or 1 XD specialist pair.   But they can in theory compete in both events, I guess, if they qualify...our top M, I think, does both.   But there are 17M, 17W, and 30 Pairs allotted in the quota, so I don't think the intent is that every singles entry will be in doubles.   (Perhaps this gets to fall in line with Weightlifting, where due to max entry quota, an NOC can't enter in every event, even if they have the best athletes...here, unless you have a pair who qualifies in both.)

    • I read the Olympic qualification documents for weightlifting. A country can have the opportunity to send a maximum of 4 athletes in one gender, but the conditions are very strict.
    • world champion Jessica Schilder opened her season up with 19.78 in France.
    • wait! what???   so, there won't be specialized double sculls, but those boats would have to feature 2 single specialists if a Nation wants to enter 2 proper singles M+W??? tell me I misread the expalaination...
