james89 479 Posted August 20, 2016 #641 Share Posted August 20, 2016 Jarvis won round one of the repechage. His next opponent will be tough to beat but at least he finishes the tournament with a win.

Canoeing is the biggest loser here, 3 to 0 medals. The RBC Olympian program is apparently identifying the next rowers and canoeists, and it found the next gem in athletics (Pierce LePage in decathlon). intoronto 4,366 Posted August 21, 2016 #647 Share Posted August 21, 2016 Looking at the medalists only Fillion/Benefito, Caldwell and Penderel are likely not to be back for 2020. The future looks bright!

Potential for multiple golds from DeGrasse and Oleksiak, canoeing and Brooke Henderson, not to mention up and coming stars waiting in the wings.
