If I'm not mistaken, part of the field (of 30 athletes) is the top-X of the World Cup and the rest is made up of the best non-qualified athletes in the other events. At least that's how it works in World Cups, I'm not 100% sure about the Olympics :p

I believe it is first all medalists from previous events, then all other top 15 in World Cup Overall Standings, and in the end best performers of previous events in OG.

I know that the 30 components are
1.top 15 of world cup
2.all medalist not included in point 1

3. the best placed athlets during the olympics (there will be a classification like in world cup for it)

Our NOC just released a special platform (who is who?) of our team :) it´s really easy and helpful

If anyone interested here the direct link for the Athletes of our Olympic Team http://www.pjongcang.olympic.sk/sk/slovenska-vyprava/sportovci

you have just to click on the sport in the right side (pictogram) and then you can select the athlete you want and will find some informations about them

also direct link for the official schedule of slovak athletes in pyeongChang (local Korean times GMT +9) http://www.pjongcang.olympic.sk/sk/program-zoh-2018/program-slovakov-po-dnoch

    • more countries added to the list of US ban    you can't travel to USA if you are from : burkina faso , niger , Laos , South sudan , mali , sierra leon ...
    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
