She was aweful so was her opponent to whom she lost . Too bad our fencer couldn't beat the German in what was a close match.

women's Team Epee with some results not exactly according to plan...

 

:UKR Ukraine defeated the Olympic Champions, :EST Estonia and :SUI Switzerland eliminated :CHN China when we're halfway through the round of 16...:yikes:

Really nice World Championships for India. Multiple players progressing beyond group stage. Bhavani Devi narrowly losing in R32. Small steps but atleast steps in right direction.

the individual events today are very late, really behind schedule...

 

I wonder if the final session is going to start later than expected? :mumble:

 

p.s. quite a good number of surprising results so far in the women's sabre (but the top 2 seeds are still there and looking good)...and of course the Italians are all out by the round of 16...:facepalm::hairpull: :nopompom:

Gergő Szemes in the men's foil QFs, he continues to be one of most promising Hungarian talents since... I can't even remember the last time we had results like this in men's foil. :d
