Wanderer 1,599 Posted April 18, 2016 #445 Share Posted April 18, 2016 What a Fed Cup weekend it was! Golubic - what a discovery! Chinese Taipei Poland and Serbia back where they belong Dutch Fed Cup team Their chance were singles matches, Garcia/Mladenovic are just too experienced and more quality doubles players than any Dutch combination... Still, the effort they give in Fed cup is so inspiring! World Group 2017: (Belarus back in top division for the first time since 1994) World Group II 2017: Fed cup definitely should have one World Group with 16 teams.... Euro/African Zone Group I 2017: Asian/Oceanian Zone Group I 2017: American Zone Group I 2017:
Wanderer 1,599 Posted April 18, 2016 #446 Share Posted April 18, 2016 New disappointment from Chung... Young players simply cannot battle through... At least Dayana Yastremska (born in 2000) won first set in her WTA main draw debut!

Wanderer 1,599 Posted April 19, 2016 #449 Share Posted April 19, 2016 Fed cup loss affected her a lot... She gave everything to win that exhausting match against Wickmayer... And it is also known that she is weirdly less motivated when playing WTA tournaments than Fed Cup...
Wanderer 1,599 Posted April 19, 2016 #450 Share Posted April 19, 2016 First ATP win for Cecchinato (finally!)... Second ATP win for Fucsovics Marton, first after Metz 2013. Khachanov won first set against Bautista Agut, it would be amazing if he pulls an upset.
