Interesting, so this is how it goes :p

CD or USB drive  They can't email an MP3 or something? Anyway, in my opinion GAISC should have a database with national anthems of every nation which the individual sports federations can use :p

Yea database would be good.. Wrong anthem is so yesterday.

But with this method, you can blame other people for the mistake. So when it hits the headlines, you can just say "We used what they gave to us! How come you blame us? I don't know why the file named Kazakhstan.mp3 isn't the Kazakh anthem"

Unlike that confused Korean anthem scandal in Indonesia AFC U-19, where the operator himself just downloaded all the participating countries' anthem then (I suspect) mistakenly pressed the first file named "Korea" in the folder

In theory live on the website will be for all events except A groups, but it isn't working. I watched 5 minutes this morning and it worked, now it isn't. For all countries not listed in the @bestmen list, live of A groups should be given on Olympic Channel.

I hope so, and I hope they can be watched on-demand there or otherwise I'm yet again (like last year) back to hoping people upload full events on YouTube quickly...

What day for Massida, and he is just 16

He did better 10 days ago in Poland and I think he could already lift around 243 in total, scarantino wasn't at the same level when he was 16.

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
    • Today : Jordan 3-0 Egypt  This team will surprise us
    • option no.2 for sure, as it's been all this shitstorm organized by the nhl owners through their embedded reporters   ps not that the north american audience looks really aware of the hockey rules and habits outside the nhl (and around their game, too, since they look not to know that just a couple of weeks ago they played 2 nhl matches on an ice sheet of the exact same size of Milan's olympic arena)
    • Are we supposed to take Daly's word for it or is this just public posturing to try and shame the Milan organizers (which they certainly deserve for all the delays) in order to threaten NHL participation?
    • Well that was a disappointing opening ceremony. Not to mention the boss is late too...   Anyway this is another victim of bureaucracy, the initial creative director quit in October and we get this kind of show.   Original plan: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/17EVayTpig/
    • Japan missed their last shot with hammer in the 10th last night against the Philippines for them to stay alive.  USA's remaining 2 games are against Philippines and Netherlands, so they have a tough road ahead, although they've already beaten Japan, so that helps for tiebreaker purposes.
    • They have already beaten Japan, so a win would them in a strong place.
