Arriba Espana! Gold for Miguel Angel Lopez in the men's 35k race walk...

Germany on their way to silver, Italy should end up with bronze...

Karlsson boiled & missing in action...

pretty boring races and hyper-messy organization with men and women on the same circuit at the same time...

Who is Karlsson?

Sorry, I know it’s hard with all these different names. :)

17th place doesn't sound awful, until you see that 17 finished and he lost nearly 20 minutes

Seriously... How many rules can Abele brake in one competition and get away with everything...... Ridiculous. He was menat to be disqualified in 100m when he had a false start for the first time.

no, in a Decathlon you are allowed to have a personal false start, the DQ only comes with the second false start (in the whole decathlon, hence this morning's DSQ after the second false start of the entire event)...

Ouch, Kaul dropping 150 points or so with that very disappointing discus throw. There is yet hope for a close fight for gold (if this throw is any indication for his general throwing form) :d  Plus Ehammer has quite a lot of space on the 1500m, unlike Kaul.

And a little late to the party, but lovely to see Abele get reinstated and have a shot at a decent finish of his career :cheer:

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!
