5th place for Donaggio, Italians are really writing our sporting history at this OG :bowdown::hyper:

So pity for the crash in the last attempt, but he doesn't have 2 tricks over 90 points. He is really young, only 18 years old, and Cortina is coming :p

Great Olympic entry for this sport I must say, Loved both finals :yes From all new events we had so far the best ones ahead of Ski Juping XTeams and Short Track XRelay

Insane olympics for Italy indeed. Now even their complete nobodies, who never did anything in their career, are suddenly getting close to the medals. Maybe next their guy in skeleton will challenge for a medal ...

Totally useless event. Having individual events is semi-tolerable, but this mixed charades... They are even doing only 1 jump per person and then eliminate 2 nations out of 6 :lol: I hope Italy kicks out this and brings back the Parallel snowboard slalom, as this is nothing more than pandering to host China

i agree, also mixed team events are in favor of the most strongest countries

      Weightlifting formula is more or less similar to 2020 which was considered terrible by everybody!    this is a tough sport, you can't be in your best shape for too many events. there will be risks of serious injuries this way. with these rules you need 5 good results to qualify. if you bomb out in an event to score a zero you are out of the Olympics unless you replace it with another event. which means most of these poor guys have to participate in 7-8 events (and not just 5) to make up for possible bomb outs.    most importantly if you get injured anytime during this period (almost 2 years) you are out of the Olympics! that's how Sohrab Moradi missed the Tokyo Olympics despite breaking the WR during the qualification period. you can miss the Olympics in 2028 if you get injured late 2026 !  Karlos Nasar couldn't win the Olympic title if we had these rules in 2024   I understand 2024 qualification formula wasn't great either, it had its own flaws but this one is much worse for threatening athletes' health.
