Wouldn’t be surprised to no  teams in 2026. The performances are not looking strong enough to secure much funding. Could well be a  absence from all the sliding events if the cuts really bite.

Yes, this is way Kalicki isn't top 3 ...

Yea, but it seems to me its also due to superior German sleds.

Kind of like Red Bull F1 cars in 2013 or Merc F1 cars in 2016. Of course in both years the teams concerned also had capable driver to go with their space-ship cars.

What's with those track/angle graphics in all three sliding sports being shown basically all the time, but basically only around this specific point of the track?  

 

 

They've shown that literally dozens and dozens of times (if not a couple of hundred, considering the amount of runs in luge, skeleton and bobsleigh combined), but all the time it's just the part around the Kreisel

To show the km/h speed of the luge/skeleton/bob with informing the viewers it is at the carousel

Yes, but why not show the speeds and the angles and such on other parts of the track? I mean, we know how the Kreisel goes now after two weeks, and this graphic is cool....but show the whole track every now and then.

I guess they expected this part being the most important of the track. No idea why the do not use this graphics also at other speed intermediates as well
