In 2018, 29 different countries competed. Differences so far:

 Marten Liiv will almost certainly qualify tonight for both men's 500 and 1.000m, so Estonia will be the 26th country added to the list.

 

 Loubineaud is now 2nd reserve on the men's 5.000m, 3rd on the men's 10.000m and 4th on the men's mass start. 

 

No reasonable hope for any of the other countries to qualify. I'm most disappointed by . They also don't have any talents coming up in the junior circuit.

It's very unlikely  will qualify a team pursuit team on points, unless they finish and one of the following teams does not finish or gets disqualified:      

 

They will most likely not qualify on time.

 

It would be a very lucky qualification because they get a lot of points just by starting in the A group. They should have been demoted to the B group twice, had it not been for the disqualification of the Russian team during World Cup 1 (for a very stupid reason btw), or the fall of the Japanese team last week.
