Summer Olympic Games Paris 2024 Tickets, Trips and Experiences

Recommended Posts

Got my email this morning as well. If anyone is on the ticketing site tomorrow, could you see about ticket availability for anything 150 euros or under for the 27th-29th? I was hoping for Saturday afternoon tennis and Sunday/Monday morning handball/beach volleyball but it looks like those are gone. Thanks.

EDIT: found this very helpful post on Reddit, just hoping some of these are still available early Monday for me (my window starts 4 am local time)

Well, glad we had gotten 6 cheap tickets during the first phase, even if not all of them are exactly what we wanted. Was hoping to snatch one more slalom, fencing or tennis ticket this time...but no affordable ones remained when we got our slot yesterday. Hoping everyone else here will still be able to get what they wanted or close. Still with any ticket there's at least gonna be the option to watch other events on outside screens and feel the atmosphere inside the city.

Sidenote: Our affordably-priced AirBnB booking for the event (partly paid-for already) got cancelled...of course.

My Airbnb in Marseille got cancelled yesterday, with the host claiming "force majeure." I gave it one more shot, found something reasonably priced with air conditioning which I understand isn't common in France.

Not much left right now, my time has almost expired...I was tempted by waterpolo e volley but i'li keep my money to push my luck for the basketball final in the resale phase,

A lot of these tickets have surely been bought by resellers....6 per session is way too many for an account.

I agree, it should've been 4 per session.

Is there no Rowing left?

Yes Rowing is still available. I was replying directly to @canadafan2024 who had asked specifically about dates 27/07 - 29/07 and for prices under €150.

Here is what rowing is available:

Cheers, hopefully those first 2 dates are still available tomorrow lunchtime at that price. At this point I'm just trying to scramble what I can, so might decide to go for Rugby Seven's too.

Good luck, I hope you can manage to get something :)

I’ve decided to just stick with what I got in the first round of ticket sales.

I’m still only planning on being there for the first few days so I was specifically looking into women’s handball in the days before the opening ceremony and swimming finals. But the handball wasn’t available and only the expensive swimming tickets were still available so I am happy to stick with my current roster.

For the Opening Ceremony I’ll probably watch it on TV rather than attend, maybe have a little celebration in my room :d

    • Yea I only used transit besides this Uber / bus to the airport and back. All the venues were at the end of the line, so it allowed you to speak with other fans/volunteers etc. I even met Corrine Stoddard's mom after the first session of short track on the way back, and told her to remember our conversation if she won a medal later in the Olympics. We know how that ended up...
    • I used public transit the entire time I was in Milan.   My first day was a doozy, because I had to two flights to reach Malpensa, and then the train into town was delayed, and then I got confused a station and boarded a tram instead of the metro, proceeded to travel in the wrong direction, got off, walked back to the station, found the metro, got off a station early, walked around a kilometer to my hotel, and checked in.   My colleagues mostly took cabs upon arrival, but I deduced to take the frugal approach. That said, I was a true public transit professional by the time I left Milan.   I actually enjoyed my rides to and from venues, because I'd just chat up fans and volunteers from different countries. It helped me learn more about the city too.
    • It's the olympics, sleep is for the weak!    The first day i got there i was on a 12 hour flight from l.a to rome (flight that left mid day), lay over, another flight to milan, uber to hotel, then right away to speed skating (1500m men), then after uber to hockey venue for women's gold final, then after the celebrations uber to the hotel, i ended up being awake about 36 hours that day, the next morning i thought to go sightseeing in the center of milan, but ended up sleeping until like 2pm..... and had speed skating/short track that night
    • I tried to get onto the metro multiple times and gave up    I had just arrived the day of from Bangkok (12 hr flight) and was just exhausted and wanted to sleep
    • Plus, you missed out on a potential metro ride with me, which is quite priceless in my opinion
    • My hotel was very close to Rho so was easy to get there, but it was so far from the hockey venue that after the women's gold medal match it was so expensive to get back, and also the next day after the usa slovakia semis it took forever, the asshole driver took the city and not the freeway
    • Uber cost me $224 CAD to get back to the hotel from the OC. It basically prevented me from buying tickets to a speed skating session
    • Romania's national team coach, Mircea Lucescu, has died half an hour ago He was in hospital since March 30th, just before the friendly match against Slovakia. Unbelievable how the life can have such turns...in March 26th he was in Istanbul playing the WC qualifying play-off vs Turkiye and now he died.    Thank you very much for every moments you bring us in your huge career (he's on 3rd place in a most trophies won in career, after Ferguson and Guardiola) and may your soul rest in peace, Mr. Lucescu.
