Swimming Qualification to Summer Olympic Games Paris 2024

The medalists from the World Championships 2023 will qualify and then the 13 fastest relays from the World Championships 2023 and 2024 combined. So those who do not send a relay to Fukuoka need a fast time at next year's World Championships.

Yeah, this is a new rule for the relay qualification. Makes not much sense. Especially when relays may qualify from other events where they may perform a way better time, just like it was during previous Olympics. This is going to be strict but also hoping more fair than before. I think before Tokyo Games there were some stories that some swimmers and also relays swam at some events and cheated as the organizers wrote very good fast time to results and there was no proof like no video, etc? I forgot where it was ....... But maybe such things made IOC think to change a rule how to qualify the relays....
