Mirza won't get the quota as there are two Chinese above him, in eventing a country can get two individual quotas

Rankings are out now and it is confirmed. Agarwalla has earned a spot. Textbook last ditch effort. :yes

 

He is safe to qualify even if FEI changed the rules now and allowed Brazil to keep their team. What a disappointment to have the same thing happen again, this time even after beating Canada at the Pan Ams. :facepalm:

Olympic rankings in all disciplines have been updated now. No backroom surprises.

 

:LTU :MDA have qualified in equestrian for the first time.

They have not applied the reallocation of the unused team spots (yet), hence why the individual list is subject to change as explained in the wording.

Only by looking through the result manually.

 

Projected dressage qualification can be seen here at the bottom.

 

And there is one more change compared to my projection. Groups D/E are indeed combined in eventing, so :ECU +1 :CZE -1.

      I am assuming the FIS will fight very hard to keep it.   From a substainability standpoint it also really doesn’t make that much sense to axe Nordic combined as long as ski jumping is in the games anyway. For the same reason that all three sliding sports are basically a package that will live and die together.

      I think Fialkova is 2nd on the World Cup all-time list for most podiums without a win.  Olena Petrova still leads there and  Marie-Laure Brunet is 3rd IIRC but I need to check that.
