What about Kaul? He is one of my favourite athletes. He did well in the European championships & I saw he participated in Javelin throw in the german championships & registered a mark better than Rohler.
I hope him & Neugebauer pushes each other & both medal in Decathlon.
Kaul must have a decent 1st day to have any chance as his 2nd day is better than most.

Kaul was quite good in Javelin Throw at the NC, though slightly worse than Röhler, not better. For him, a lot depends on the high jump, where he injured himself at the Tokyo Olympics while jumping 2,10m. Since then, he had problems in high jump with his foot from time to time again. If he does not lose to many point in 100m and long jump and if the high jump works, I do think he has a shot at the medals, though I don't think he's among the prime contenders.

In Rome, he missed a better result because of the high jump and because he almost fell in the hurdles and was much slower than he usually is in this event. So he has some space for improvement compared to the European Championships.

lol the scam/trick our federation and NOC invented today   Despite having qualified only 27 athletes in all sports we will still compete in Paris with 28 athletes ! Do not know who was exactly the conman which came with it but we found out a "whole in the system" :d

Miroslav Úradník who failed to qualify in Race Walk M 20Km was selected as "AP Category" travelling alternate for the Mixed Relay Černý/Burzalová, but since Černý managed to qualify also in the M 20KM, everybody decided that hey, let´s do a trick and let Úradník compete in the Mixed Relay with Černý´s fiancee Burzalová. So Despite only 5 athletes qualifed, 6 SVK athletes will at the end compete in athletics, and everything is entirely fine within the rules :d

Only 1 AP athlete in the Race Walking Relay???........ Oh, you slovaks are just AMATEURS!!!!!

Because the olympic cycle in spanish athletics has not been as buoyant as our national federation expected when applying its criteria of excellence, they have use the Race Walkking rellay to "disguise" the reality that extra hard qualification criteria doesnt work, and they have name TEN DIFFERENT RACE WALKERS for the Race Walking relay, to bump up the total numbers of athletes in the Olympics and be able to say that "this is the second bioggest team of Spanish athletes in the games ever!!!!!"

So, yeah, your federation using the relay to bump up their number by one is almost forgibeable

Well, the female alternate ended by qualifying to the W 20km race, so she will compete in paris whatever, so it is only about Úradník the male alternate who was repeched by our federation/NOC and will still compete in Paris without originally qualifying there :p

Has anybody by any chance printed the "Road to Paris" page last week?

They have just erased all the "non-qualified" athletes and it's such a mayhem now, because they are not even the proper qualified athletes, just the "best 3" from each country and so on...

what do you want to look for?

Cause you can always filter the ranking by 3 per country, and that's it

I would like to check all the athletes on the ranking, including those "bubbling under" or the other options from countries with 3 OQT.

It is not available anymore,

I just realized that WA did the same thing in 800m as it had done in marathon: they removed 3 ranking quotas to give universality spots (including first to Cook Islands)

Czech media mentioned how it would be if there are any other reallocations in any sport. As they say, all sports have been finalized. And if there is an reallocation due to any reason, it must be approved by 4 parties: NOC, IOC, Paris 2024 organizing committee and the international federation.
