For :ESP only two:

Athletics - María Vicente (Triple jump in YOG and heptathlon in Tokyo) - Silver

:BRA

Keno Machado (Boxing) - won YOG Gold

Maria Ieda Guimarães (Modern Pentathlon)

Bruna Takahashi (Table Tennis) - was also part of the Rio 2016 team before YOG

Not selected yet, but probably will: Diogo Soares (Gymnastics) - secured an individual spot for Brazil.

from Buenos Aires 2018 none

in fact from the all 3 YOG, we will have only one participant in Tokyo. Jakub Grigar, silver medalist in Nanjing 2014 in that obstacle bs nonsense

:IRI

just one, Amir Hossein Zare (Wrestling) won silver in YOG and we believe he has a very good chance to medal in Tokyo

kind of interesting that his opponent in YOG final :RUS Sergey Kozyrev will be in Tokyo too.

in 2016 we had two 2014 YOG Olympians in our delegation. (one of them won a medal in Rio) but nobody from 2010 YOG made it to 2012 SOG in London.

-------------

also if we consider 2010 and 2014 YOG Olympians we have two of them in 2020 delegation

Ali Aghamirzaei (Canoeing) - 2010

Najmeh Khedmati (Shooting) - 2014

    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
