I don't think anyone would use any substance that doesn't help.. :p

Norwegian Pharmacy Institute doesn`t believe Johaug - they said, as i was sure (my mom was a doctor) that that amount of this substance simply couldn`t affect her blood if used only on mouth (to small body surface).

Sadly, for me, Johaug`s case is clear and her stories make it even more disgusting

Their asthma is not an usually asthma. Asthma is just a wrong word from mass media. They have an exercise-induced bronchoconstriction (EIB).
For cure athletes used salbutamol. (There are many salbutamol users in Fancy Bears's TUEs). According to WADA salbutamol is not a doping in the cases when you are cure EIB with authorized methods and doses.
EIB is like a professional disease. WADA say that small doses can't help to be better than athletes without EIB. But there are too many dominant athletes with EIB and it looks queerly.

still question why Norwegians have more such cases than others...having a clean country, clean air - it`s a bit strange. The same with Brittish cyclists. 1 of them admitted that his sickness was a fake and he used doping legally. BTW - i also used salbutamol for asthma

And like the jamaican sprinters, american swimmers, brithish cyclists, german biathletes, austrian skiers, italian fencers, brazilian footballers, cuban boxers, chinese table tennis players, korean archers, canadian ice hockey players, australian/new zealand rugby players, japanese gymnasts, dutch speed skaters etc., because no nation can dominate a sport like that, am i right? ;)

no, because they are astmatics who dominate the world. I had astma, no comments

Because the Russians usually respond like "OMG it's a conspiracy against our innocent athletes!!11", while in this case the Norwegians are taking the blame. Plus there's at least quite clear 'evidence' that her lip was messed up, so it's not so hard to believe that she was actually treated with something and a doctor made a mistake in that. I find this easier to believe than someone like LaShawn Merritt and his penis enlargement stuff.

maybe Therese is this 1% exception, maybe, there is some chance and some "shadow of the doubt" in her guilt...but my trust in that kind of cases is very limited.

And i don`t want to ask why the percentage of astmatics is so high in this beautiful country...., for me Norwegian nordic-ski team is suspected like Polish lifters, Kenyan runners, many Russians etc..., we will see

But how can lips look like that, months before someone cries a lot? :d

(remember that the picture of those lips are from August, even before the doping control)

oh i get it, so probably yes - she was treated that way....but such a mistake in perfect pro Norwegian team? Sounds stinky still, like unreal. As above, maybe they overused it this time like Zielinski brothers...

Could you try this sentence again? "It could have happened" --> What could have happened because of intense crying? :p

She apparently knew the results on 4 October by the way.

when people cry much lips can look like this

As it is for the lips, it could easily end up in the mouth.

That is indeed interesting and really means that at least the team doctor should be fired.

Apparently it's part of the national team contract that skiers must accept whatever medicaments the doctor tells them to take.

this is interesting, some part of it could affect doping test result but is it possible that it would be enough to go over allowed concentration? I`m not a doctor, my mam was - it sounds like "stinky". I`d rather believe they just used her mouth as an argument or did it deliberately. BTW - she probably knew the results some days before us, so it could`ve happened because of intense "crying" - this is quite normal. The whole explanation sounds......strange, especially that the case of doping in Norwegian team was louder and louder for some months....i don`t believe in co-incidences and i don`t believe this "explanation" if i have to be true...

And BTW 2 - she`d be the only Norwegian skier treated that way?...very "on the edge". BTW3 - experienced doctor would suddenly make such a amateur mistake? Maybe they just overused it this time...

It's one of the most enduring sports in the world...it's not very realistic to expect anyone who won the World Cup in the past 5-10 years was totally clean :p

By the way, this is not really a beginning of anything. It mostly looks as though she actually did treat her lips (judging by several pictures where her lips were indeed pretty messed up).

and it got to her blood from mouth? did she eat it? :)

and this is Kowalczyk`s answer :)

As someone, who has zero knowledge about Efimova, I am intrigued by the way she is singled out. What makes her worse than other dope cheaters? Or why is she the personification of Russian doping problems?

she a kind of has 0 decency level, she seems to parade with this doping, very unpleasant character for me

Serbians always defend Russians, even if their whole state was engaged in doping. So the state is penalized and as the result individual athletes of this state.

Isinbayeva? Why she didn`t say the world about doping in Russia??? Maybe she silently accepted it? Doesn`t matter. Russia had to be punished - sure, some maybe clean athletes will pay this price

And don't you think, that all that story can be simple fairy tale? Through all the season the same athletes(do we talk about people who take part in not only one competition, right?) did tests in foreign countries in competitions, had top results and weren't caught. I have mentioned earlier that even now we don't have proofs for that "wonderful strategy" of FSB, and also FSB is made at first so clever and so stupid later. Sorry, I can hardly believe it.

facts and statistics are fairy tale? Why they would make fairy tales about Russia and not Turkey or China. Maybe you hear fairy tales in Russia, it`s more probable.

Maybe it`s time to face facts dear friend and face consequences

What is it "proven". Proved that Isinbayeva, gymnasts, wrestlers and others took dope?! No that's not true. They are clean, as well as other athletes from Russia and deserve to compete at the Olympics

Russia is a state, if this state abuses anti-doping on such scale this country as a whole can and should be punished.

So, if some country is expelled from weightlifting does it mean that all lifters took dope?! No! But the fed and in some way country is punished together with clean lifters. In this cas the whole country should be punished, yes - it will hurt some clean athletes
