Congratulations to @Agger and @wumo26 for an amazing victory and congratulations to @dezbee2008 and @Olympian1010 for successfully organising another incredible contest.
Pretty pleased with my voting, Denmark 9 points, USA 12, Ireland 11 
Big thanks to everyone who voted for the British song, so close to a medal but the Anglo-Irish TISC battle will roll on after such a close result!
Finally @OlympicIRL and @dcro have done it once again, coming up with exciting and (simple!!!) team challenges and little extras that add so much to the contest and keeps us on our toes! All eyes on Italy 2019 now!

ExpandBy the way, should we have a quick discussion about how the hosting rights will be awarded in the event that the winner refuses those rights?
I believe it's good to have some clarity before the Grand Final so that everyone knows in advance.
Definitely be good to clear this up.
My preference has always been giving the winner first refusal, followed by second and third place. If all 3 decline then an open selection where individuals or groups of members are invited to nominate themselves as the next host. However, there should be some minimum eligibilty requirements, firstly the country should have competed in the contest that had just taken place, secondly the specific member bidding should have participated in at least 2 contests and thirdly member should be active across the entire forum, not simply popping up twice a year for TISC. If all these conditions are met then I'm happy with a random draw or some convoluted game of keys to decide the host, but definitely not a vote by members.

We Are Singapore - bit of a personal story to this one since I'm now living in Singapore and heard this non-stop throughout the months of July and August everywhere, culminating in the National Day performance its become a major earworm so had to share it here!

Slightly controversial as Bob Dylan recorded the song before but didn't release it for quite some time.
Hmmm I wasn’t aware! From what I can gather Bob Dylan wrote the song, but Manfred Mann released their version first (in 1968), whereas Bob Dylan released the song in 1970. Does that make it a cover of an American singers song or simply a song written by an American? I’ll have to consult the powers that be @OlympicIRL @dezbee2008 to decide!

Good news is that the Glasgow model of a cheaper games seems to have revived interest in hosting from other Member States. Commonwealth Games: Canada, India, Nigeria & New Zealand among those keen to host in 2030 & 2034 - BBC Sport -
Last week our federation announced half of the team for the 2025 Worlds (7 in Greco, 3 in freestyle) we have a very very weird and complicated trial process those guys already met the criteria or in another word nobody else met the criteria to challenge them. we won 8 medals in wrestling in Paris, 4 of those guys already confirmed their places in 2025 team. but the most important part, it's confirmed now that Hassan Yazdani is not going to wrestle in 2025 he had another shoulder surgery after the Olympics (this time in France) and they think it's better for him to not rush it if he wants to have a shot for the 2028 Olympics. he was a national team member from 2015 to 2024 and won 10 World/Olympic medals in 10 consecutive years. and beside that, when/if he comes back he will move up a weight or two. he won't wrestle at 86kg anymore. -

Nah, they are too good to be kicked out. I presume anyone who is currently in the teams will remain, but they won't be naturalizing new wrestlers going forward. For now at least -
so what happens now ? I mean for likes of Ramezanov and Novikov ? our media follow the story and they reported Bulgaria will kick them out. is this correct ? (I assume not, that doesn't make sense) because in this case they have to retire, they can't wrestle for somewhere else per UWW rules.

She did progress through the rounds in the 100 very well so you're no doubt right. In other news Australia has finally found a male backstroker with 16 year old Henry Allan going 24.88 and 53.73 at Australian Age Championships this week. -
