  1. Yeah, so all that Pre-Beijing 2022 Chinese shopping, naturalization everybody with small distant chinese roots and changing names to Chinese in order "of popularization and building of bright future of hockey in China" was just as expected... simple lies to IOC, IIHF and Chinese hockey fans overall and just and simply pure shopping to simply not lose the face at home Olympics. Once Beijing 22 was over. Thank you all and good bye we do not need you anymore

  7. Absolutely no one knows. Either it´s the best kept secret on the planet or IIHF themselves have no idea what to do either ... Seriously, it is a mess for more than a year, they all claimed that even the ninth team from the world ranking would advance directly to the Olympics... and blah, blah, blah... Now, they claim that Slovakia will definitely have to play the qualifiers, but we still don´t know against who ! Who would replace Russia at the Olympics in case of their ban being extended. Whether four from the final qualifying groupwill advance or will they give a wild card to someone, or they will return to the world ranking and move us to Cortina retroactively or what do I know what these enlightened ones in the IIHF will invent ? The same with Belarus, nobody knows who will replace them in Bratislava if they are banned, whether the group will only consist of three teams, or if it will stand a 4 team group will we have four advancing from the current 3rd qualifying round or what ? Complete mess, but yeah, nothing of this mess would happened if some IIHF leaders did not shit in their own mouths...
  8. Quite disappointed by Japan so far, I expected much more from them. They were recently strongly increasing their support for hockey quite a bit, which has started to be reflected in the significantly improved results especially in the younger categories, so far it doesn´t look like that here at all though
  9. The super exciting Nations League is back (insert sarcasm emoji). Today is the draw for the 2024-25 edition. Slovakia, who completelly flopped in the previous edition is only in Pot 3 of League C Remember is the lowest ranked country to qualify for the EURO and only which ever qualified from pot 5. So yeah you all fellas in League C ! You just been warned !
  10. well... definitely interesting idea for sure. Not entirely enamored by that piece of metal in the middle though... I know Tour Eiffel and all, that´s a nice idea, but yeah.. it is not how a Olympic medal should look. for me I mean... it is a question of being used to it I guess
  11. Nothing officially known yet, but I assume the either IIHF or Hungarian Ice Hockey Federation youtube acounts will provide streams of the matches on their platform. I guess, We will know more shortly before the start. Anyway, as always, if you do not find a stream, I suggest you to just go to onhockey.TV (You´ll find all hockey streams there for free and no VPN required)
  12. There literally already qualified teams playing the qualifying Tournament ?!? FIBA ! oh my ! what ? why ? Who came with this idea ? why ? How ? ... Why ? Da fuck is wrong with all this sport ?!
  13. If CIV wins the tournament will the fired coach after the preliminary round also receive the gold medal ?

  18. Must admit, first time I see Qatari ladies celebrating in a stadium. was nice and really refreshing, because I found the QAT male fans quite annoying Still from my point of view, I found it Quite unusual to say the least, but again, I do not really follow QAT football competitions so closely, so maybe it is nowadays perfectly normal (which would be cool ofc)
  19. 3rd worst shooting relay today just worse of and and when even Kuzmina make a penalty loop what can you expect more ? anyway, under the circumstances 16th place is at the end not so bad...but, there were room after 1st leg of Sklenárik for attacking the first half of the results list... meh
