  1. I mean Jesus inspired the zombie genre, so it seems like a great way to celebrate
  2. If we’re voting for next years venues, I’d like to place a vote for the Olympic Stage in Whistler
  3. You, @Federer91, @Vojthas, and him can have a party. I like 70s/80s music as well, it’s just not the “see all, end all” for me that it is for him. As for his taste in visual arts...
  4. Oof, shots fired. I think the Portuguese song makes a better progression. My family really liked that one, but felt the Brazilian song wasn’t good. The biggest complaint was the unusual beat/rhythm, which I love. I knocked it down points because it failed to reach the peak I wanted it to.
  5. I’ve listened to the Brazilian song about 200 times now. I’m gutted that I didn’t appreciate it as much when I was voting. Talk about a perfect song right there
  6. Well, Satan has condemned the US to 2 points it seems. I do thank all of those who are voting for us. I will make sure to increase the bribe payments next year
  7. It’s gonna be “why are you forcing us to listen to this again? We barely tolerated it the last time.” I come from a highly (and I mean highly) non-artistically inclined family. My dad think 70s/80s music and Will Ferrel movies are the peak of existence. My mother lacks a tolerance for almost all comedy and visual art. She listens female singers from the 80s, and modern pop. My sister still has some hope. Her art skills, are, well, “developing.” I’m been impressed by what she likes though. I not great a art either, but I love the arte just as much as I love sports.
  8. 13/14 year old me was all about that song. I’ve was an alternative guy, and I still am, but I like a lot of music. You can contend for my points as long as you don’t submit a ballad, country song, generic rap, or generic pop song.
  9. @Bohemia is fuming about getting 11 points right now. She’s knows that’s more than they deserve (or at least that’s what she claims)
  10. They didn’t hate it. They didn’t love it. They liked it. Musical composition was strong. Uplifting beat, good vocals. Great lyrics. You’re well on you’re way to getting points from Olympian.
  11. Riptide was the better well-known song, just throwing it out there...
  12. That’s incredibly sad. I joked about the US having a toilet paper driven economy at the start of Covid-19, but Zimbabwe actually had one
  13. Oh it was. I’m king of the petty though, and I was not impressed. It’s a great song, I just wasn’t sure how to measure against the others since I’ve had to hear on the radio for months now. My uncultured family was certain it had to be given 12, but again I wisely went against their advice,
  14. Didn’t Zimbabwe issue a billion dollar bill or something a few years ago?
