  1. It makes me jealous. My town has barely existed for 100 years, yet Croatia’s over here with all it’s beautiful historic buildings
  2. and a Slovonia apparently. You all need to sit down and come up with new names.
  3. Can anyone else see the video? The American jury seems to have a glitch on our screens...
  4. No, that’d be “thanks...bitch” Even I understand @Dolby reference from the show, and I never watched it!
  5. I believe it gets much better from understanding.
  6. It’s formatted for traditional television though, which means the creatively and storytelling as been highly restricted to an extent. There’s annoying cuts for commercials. Episodes are shorter than they could have been. That can’t use offensive language, images, symbols, etc. Basically the artist merit of the show has been restricted.
  7. I know it’s regarding as one of the best television series of of all time. Personally, I haven’t watched it, and I’m not that interested in old media, so I probably won’t. I’m not a big fan of television unless it’s in the modern streaming format.
  8. Watched it a long time ago. It was okay at best. I think the first season was fine, but then it just got crazy and hard to keep track of (at least in the age of watching an episode weekly). My sister has been watching lately, and she really liked it.
  9. Actually it came from comparing it to the other the other films I saw. I realized how terrible the pacing of Gladiator is. It’s still a good movie, it just lacks in some areas. Arrival on the other hand...
  10. Yes, I’m America, so I use the easy understandable lbs weight system
  11. Yeah, but then I took a film class and realized that Gladiator is kind of meh.
  12. When it comes to the Sci-fi genre there are.
  13. My heart is fucking breaking right now This is the famous Thanksgiving wrong number friendship. The young black male picture has been reported to have passed away tonight. These two were the epitome of what being American means, and there’s only one EDIT: It’s the woman’s husband that passed away, not the black kid. This is still really sad though.
  14. This would be so awesome. These are the type of athletes that deserve the invite spots.
  15. Yeah, @Vojthas explained it all to me a while back. The good news is that his Federation might become the new one
  16. I’d just like to take a moment to point out that there is a Polish curler on forum @Vojthas can give us really good incites into Curling in “non-competitive” countries.
  17. Even with only nations from the Commonwealth, I believe the ICC has more registered members, but I could be wrong. Curling is sport where I think non-winter nations could make an impact in winter sports. Yes, it would take years of programs and practice, but I do think with the right resources it would be possible one day.
  18. No doubt. Do they have Curling at Canadian High Schools? There’s definitely more competitiveness than Cricket. However, I’d say Cricket is more diverse because more nations play it (even if they’re not competitive). I’d say Rugby is more competitive and diverse, but even then it’s close.
  19. There’s been some recent growth though. Ukraine open its first purpose-built Curling center this winter. Sure it’s the probably the saddest thing you’ve ever seen, but it’s better than nothing I do agree that the sport is still marked by terrible lack of diversity. I’m really hoping to see some new faces in Beijing. Hopefully Mixed Doubles actually gives us some new faces this time.
