  1. If I'm not mistaken, the organization provides the rollerskis and they are handed out by random draw. So I would suppose there's less of a discussion I like it, there's too much of a difference between different kinds of wheels and skis.
  2. RIP asphalt in Belarus
  3. I can understand, if you look closely you can see at least one meter of climbing in the first half. Kenny van Hummel would have dropped out there.
  4. Most exciting stage profile ever for today's team time trial/stage 1
  5. So now he won't be able to play in stuff in which he wouldn't have been able to play anyway, oh no!
  6. Dutch teams destroying British/UK/English/whatever teams in semi's, that always ends up going well!
  7. Egon Zimmermann of Austria, 1964 Olympic downhill champion. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egon_Zimmermann
  8. There's a not all too bad 16-year old British girl in the Alpen Cup Thought it'd be interesting enough to mention, don't see British combiners too often. https://www.fis-ski.com/DB/general/athlete-biography.html?sectorcode=nk&competitorid=235888&type=result
  9. Well great job from FIS to keep their stuff updated then
  10. Yes, that would make complete sense...if that were true! But it's not Like I said, the finals are actually tonight (CET)/tomorrow morning (LOC). By the time the evening falls on 24 August in New Zealand (tomorrow) this whole competition is over, 25 August has nothing to do with it anymore. You can go there and click on the start list, where the actual starting time (local) is listed, and that's quite clear: 24 August, 09.15 Cardrona time.
  11. Coups end up in riots, death and civil war way too often for me to be happy about them..
  12. FIS gets it wrong on the very first World Cup of the season, well done! The finals are not on 25 August, they are in fact tomorrow (24 August), starting at 09.15 local time, which in no place in the world compares to any time on 25 August. That is 23.15 CET (today).
  13. @wumo26 We did it, it's open!
  14. Maybe while they're at it, they can tell Bolsonaro he seriously needs to rake his forests. I mean, you gotta rake those forests to avoid fires. He seems stupid enough to believe it.
  15. I'm lighting up my torch as we speak, let's roll! We! Want! Freedom!
  16. You can bet your ass Sir Mister His Royal Highness Seb Coe is 100 points behind the leader and suddenly has taken the lead after tomorrow
  17. Marcel Kittel has announced his retirement, this time for good. As a true cycling fan, one can only tip their hat to the monster he was in his prime
  18. I could not have chosen a much worse time to go, could I? Bought my ticket today, arriving in Brazil on September 25th In São Paulo, I hope the lights are back on by then...(and ideally someone kicked Bolsonaro out but that's not gonna happen within a month obviously...also, if it does, I can't imagine that would be much cause for peace)
  19. Paris is tomorrow
  20. We....aaaaaaaaaaaaaaare live! https://www.eurovisionsports.tv/ibu/
  21. What's up with basketball (blue) having that weird shape every time? I can assume the main peak is the NBA Finals, but how come every year there is the same small peak, then a 'descent', then a short 'climb' and then again the major peak/NBA Finals? What is that smaller peak?
  22. Hello Vasnetcova is going to dominate the women's junior competition, one could assume. Krasimir 'The King of Minor Championships' Anev, how surprising He should have a good medal shot once again, I'm curious about Yeremin and whether or not he can finally keep his shooting under control a bit. He can't, but you know, hope dies last. Some interesting names in the women's race as well, too bad my favourite Chinese biathlete Qu Ying isn't there.
