  1. Those that don't show up don't deserve to qualify indeed. On the other hand, those that actually could be bothered to show up should deserve so (or at least have the chance).
  2. In the Netherlands he's famous among tennis fans for getting kinda fat and still wiping the floor with Robin Haase....more than once (in Marrakech I believe) Today I learned he used to be Algerian
  3. Just looking through some results, like the Wimbledon semifinals @bestmen
  4. From which Hollywood movie did that come?
  5. Superman and Piti are doing pretty well, 1:32 and 0:54 behind Roglic ain't bad.
  6. And that's over two minutes down the drain for Quintana with 12km to go.
  7. Wow, Quintana has already lost almost one and a half minute on Roglic at the first split I mean, I know there's a significant difference in their ITT capabilities, but that's big.
  8. So that looks like Brazil is very likely to qualify two men and one woman or can we still expect a major change in that regard? Mostly wondering because I had a discussion about it last weekend, and the other person was confident Mourão (in this case) had to finish 'on average in the top-30', meaning her WCh result would be pretty bad for the Olympic chances. I strongly doubted that, because it's not like she has been regularly finishing in the top-30 and still Brazil was always easily within qualifying range.
  9. Must be something like this, I have no problem downloading these documents.
  10. Out of curiousity: any idea when a new update is coming?
  11. Looks like not wearing a certain jersey would get you kicked out nowadays. Well, there goes quite some time down the drain due to having to ride in some crappy jersey given by the organizers. Should have paid better attention Roglic.
  12. Meanwhile, the senile old fool is being a senile old fool.
  13. Yep, warm water is running out because it's been more or less in the same position for so, so long. Still looks like it's gonna be several hours before the Bahamas are going to be free of devastating winds and rain and after that it's time to see what's still left standing and if anything is still habitable.
  14. Does anyone know what the penalty is for not starting in the right jersey? Roglic has the green points jersey, which he very much didn't want (like red), because he wants to have his own, much faster one for the time trial. I wonder if he'll ignore it and just puts on his regular jersey
  15. France would like to have a word with you
  16. That profile is a bad joke from the Vuelta organization by the way, in terms of showing the climbs. There's actually two climbs that are far from easy, especially the first one has some serious stuff in it and the second one opens with a tough kilometer before getting a bit easier.
  17. It's all going to depend on Pogacar and how long he can keep this up. Jumbo should definitely have the red jersey in the team after today, anything else would be a major letdown from Roglic since he's just by far the best time trial rider in this field.
  18. So much potential for bad javelin jokes there.
  19. Just saw the ISTAF result now, but 12.72 for Nadine Visser is impressive in the hurdles, only 0,01 shy of her own NR
  20. Even in the Vuelta it's impossible to escape....time trial to, yes, Pau today (apparently)
  21. Because he did insane things and was the absolute moneymaker of everything athletics. People watched athletics because of Bolt, people went to stadiums because of Bolt, no matter the ticket costs. Not saying he doped or something, I have no clue, but it's not like there would be no reason to kinda help cover something up or help stay under the radar.
  22. Yes, luckily people blindly following whatever the political and/or religious leader says happens nowhere else!
