  1. Popov is such a cool skier to see, it's like there's 2,5 meters of energy forced into a 1,25m body
  2. Last night was the opening ceremony, vamos Luquinhas (on the right) and Matheus (left)
  3. Now all they need to do is get rid of that damn annoying Fan Boost
  4. There was a difference with his brakes in the group session of qualifying and super pole, something which apparently since this weekend isn't allowed anymore (and which he called 'the most stupid rule in motorsports').
  5. Me too, that name is just too awesome not to have there.
  6. Some photos from the women's pursuit in Arber, just because. At the individual and sprint I was near the shooting range, a bit too far away for photos, during the pursuit I was at the course. Waiting for Jill Colebourn, who we - in an attempt to emulate German coaches who yell in their athletes' ears from two meters - succesfully yelled towards her goal of not getting lapped. Dying Jill. Cheering for Chinese Yu Qing (50, gave us a nice Chinese present during the week after befriending my girlfriend at the IBU Cup in Duszniki) and Jill, both fighting with Ana Maka of Poland. On the right is Norwegian former biathlete Tobias Torgersen, until around two years ago the coach of the Brazilians (and the Swedish IBU Cup team), then coach of Poland's women's World Cup team and now working for China. Victoria Slivko of Russia on her way to the sprint-pursuit double. Janina Hettich (7), Nadine Horchler (4) and Ragnhild Femsteinevik (7) fighting behind Slivko. Eventually only Horchler would manage to hold on and get a podium. Kirari Tanaka of Japan can finally go right - towards the finish - instead of left - towards the shooting range and yet another lap.
  7. Nobody would be, since there's already 8 shooting bouts where things can be majorly messed up for any nation
  8. I would say it's basically the same, but it might just as well be as much alike as track and road cycling
  9. Oh how the days of Fourcade's hardest domination were exciting compared to this 14 races, 11 wins, that's utterly bizarre in a sport like biathlon.
  10. I thought this sport had at least some international participants, judging by the fields in some multi-sport events, but meh https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_World_Indoor_Bowls_Championship
  11. Mironova just did what she usually does
  12. Hi, I do I'll light a candle for her to help beat the other Italian as well
  13. Wait, what does Sindo have to do with the list of events I have in my Notepad file? I just looked on FIE's website a month or two ago and put all World Cups in my 'Notepad calendar'
  14. Technically speaking Halep is still No1 for a little more than a day
  15. Tauson didn't lose a single set after Australian wild card Anastasia Berezov won set one against her in the very first round. Nice.
  16. Anyone up for a bet with eternal fame as prize? When will Helene Marie Fossesholm get her first individual World Cup podium? Answer with a season and a month. Here we go. heywoodu 2020/21, January
  17. Right, that explains a lot: I only have World Cups in my list.
  18. Wait, there's epee fencing as well? I only had foil, foil and sabre in my list
  19. I don't find fencing interesting enough for that, unlike Nordic combined or biathlon or something
  20. Thanks. Eline Rentier is out, so that's it for Dutch fencing this weekend
